A very yummy & easy recipe for caramel which will leave you licking your fingers and wanting more! This can be poured over ice cream sundaes or used in the banoffee pie, use it anywhere and it is sure to taste good!
- Get a 400ml can of sweetened condensed milk. Put it in a sauce pan full with water, and fully submerge the can it.
- Boil the can for 2 to 21/2 hours. Always keeping a check on the level of water. If the can is exposed, top it off with some more water.
- After 2- 2 1/2 hours, take the can carefully out and let it come to room temperature before opening it and scooping it out.
Done! See how easy that is! All this wait is worth the result!
